Naturalist Basin Uinta Mountains

A great backpacking trip into Naturalist Basin in the High Uintas with the Dittmars and the Guymons. Lots of hiking, some fishing and plenty of rain. We even saw a big moose while hiking the upper lakes.

All the boys having a mid-hike break and loving every minute. Sawyer, Isaiah, Mason, Solomon, Liam.

Clint catching his dinner. A lot better than his Grandaddy catch!

We had some amazing views from he upper lakes.

Naturalist Basin is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been.

Yummy!!!

This must be a Spencer day because I keep finding all these funny pictures of him. He earned this huge ice cream cone as a bribe to play in his first soccer game. We pulled up at the game and he was mad because the game was not at his soccer practice field. He refused to play and yelled at everyone I AM QUITING!!! The last 10 min's the coach let me stay on the field with him and the first 10 sec. he made a goal which lit his face right up. Then the next play he made another goal and told me to go sit down. After the game he was mad because he didn't get to play very long. Then after he ate his ice cream cone he told me that he didn't like it.

Spencer's missing underwear!

Spencer fell asleep with underwear on his head. I thought it was so cute I needed a picture. He woke up in the morning and could not find his underwear and was mad at everyone thinking they took it. I helped him look and could not find it anywhere. I have no idea what he did with it. The next two nights he slept with his underwear under his pillow so no one would take it.
Do you find this odd?

Which one's Spencer?

I found these pictures of Spencer on my camera. Melanie put stuffed animals all over Spencer when he was trying to play the computer. He looks like he is loving it.

Where's Spencer?

I take Spencer to the bathroom every night before I go to bed. But on this night I could not find him. We were in a panic running all over the house trying to find him thinking that he might have gone outside. We finally find him asleep halfway under my bed. This is not the first time that Spencer has fallen asleep in a strange place were we couldn't find him. One day when we came home from church Spencer fell asleep in our closet behind the clothes with stuff on top of him. After 10 min of screaming for him and searching the entire house we started to look for him outside. The word had spread through the neighborhood and everyone was out looking for him. I found him 30 min later in that spot where I had looked 2 times already. He is lucky to still be alive.
