Christmas 2009

Not much of a display, but there was something for everyone, and the tree and the decorations were on loan from the church in Wangaratta.

We didn't have our Christmas stocking this year so we wrapped the kids stocking stuffer up to look like we got them lunch at Fish and Chips. Fish and Chips is a very popular place to eat in Australia, they serve a variety of food with a large amount of Chips (french fries) with it. The kids looked a little surprised when they opened up what they thought was lunch.

Letters to Santa were a bit late this year, we left them out for him to get when he came to drop off the stuff.

Nana sent the kids some really neat embroidered pillow cases this year.

The boys got camping ones, Daddy was a bit jealous he didn't get a cool camping pillow case.

Maeby was actually a little disappointed that she didn't get chips Christmas Morning.

She quickly forgot about the chips and dove right into the chocolate.

Liam got a rubber band gun...it only took seconds for him to find an illegal target and nearly got it taken away before opening presents was over. Ahhh, he is his fathers son...

Daddy loves to play Santa every year and hand out the presents.

Spencer was pretty happy to get this, despite the look on his face like, "Really Mom, a toy motorcycle...I can't ride this thing."

Maeby was so excited for a new princess dress.

Happy kids! Mission accomplished.

Liam has been begging for this game for over a year, Willy ordered it from America and had his friend bring it out. It was a big hit, and a total surprise. Lucky stinking kid.

Similar story here.

We took these boats to the lake a bit later and everyone loved them.

Melanie finally gets to have a fish, and what a joy it has been. If only I had a time machine...

Poor kid is dying of starvation, look at him, writhing on the ground in pain. You can see his bones and everything.

Who needs toys, why waste the money? Just sneak around other peoples houses after Christmas and take their boxes.

We actually couldn't find Maeby for a while, till we found her hiding quietly in here.

Surprise!

Christmas Eve Dinner with the Wilson's

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Susan and Justin' s house. There were lots of fun party poppers that the kids got a kick out of. Susan and Justin spoiled us with gifts and great memories. Thanks for having us over.

Spencer, control your tarantula before he eats Scott

In one of the party poppers was a mini deck of cards. Liam was having a great time playing with the missionaries.

Ulupna Island

Gary (works with Will) was visiting from the states and we took him to Ulupna Island which is located at the eastern end of the Barmah National Park. It is part of the largest river red gum forest in Victoria. We wanted to see some Koala's out in the bush. Once we got out if the car, it was easy to spot them.
