This photo is one of my favorite.
Off in the distance here you can see Liam on top of a rock. |
The rainbows made the whole experience just magical.
Here are some fun family photos on the fence behind the hut.
This one got a little silly
Of course, Willy said we had to have this photo. It is pretty cool, a little jeepy land cruiser 4x4 climbing up the trail. Its a neat way to say 4 wheel drive required.
Maeby and Mum taking a stroll through the snow gums. These gum trees only grow up at high elevations in the mountains. They are really colorful, like natural camouflage.
This was a large rock up near the hut.
Maeby playing on a cut log surrounded by the snow gums.
Here is a close up of the snow gums colorful bark.
Spencer and The Man Who Wishes He was from Snowy River.
This is so cute, look at Maeby crossing the fence. I love this picture!
This one is so cute too.
Here is me wrangling, wheres my whip when I need it? (just kidding!)
Spencer hanging out on the log.
Sleepy time. Camping out in the Hut.
Liam and William Woodford.
Happy Spencer going to bed.
Another angle in the morning as the fog is lifting.
Mel in the morning after our tumultuous night in the hut.
Brother Woodford entertaining the baldy brothers with a ukulele that was left in the Hut.
My old man, he was just wishing he could take off into the hills, and he would have too if I gave him permission. See ya, I will meet you guys in a couple days at the bottom...yeah, I don't think so, how about you take the kids and I hike off into the sunset.
On the way out, at the bottom of the mountain, we stopped for lunch at a cool little park near a river

Wow, the pircures of the cabin with the rainbow are really something. Looks like fun. I was looking at the boys and their bald heads and then I remembered you had them shaved.......miss you guys.
