Murray River

Sam and Kristen...these first 6 pictures are for you. Your Big Island pose has nothing on our Murray River poses.

You drop me... you are dead. D-E-D Dead!

Everyone seemed to enjoy their flights over the water.... except Melanie.

Liam's first Aussie wipe out!

Maeby got hungry

We didn't have any sandwich bags, so we wrapped our leftover cheese in some foil. We found it back in the fridge.

Wake-up Stop

We were 30 min's from home and all the kids were falling asleep in the car. Bed time was only two hours away so we didn't want them to take any naps. We stopped on the side of the road to take some pictures.

House in Australia

There were 3 homes available for rent and only one without a pool so we rented the one without the pool.

The Trek Down Under!

Maeby was really sick and everything we offered her to eat, or everything she smelled she would say "eww that's yucky", including ice cream.

Everything we took with us is in the back of that truck.

Trying to get everything into the airport. One of those carts rolled away just after Will loaded it up, off the curb and right into Audrey, it dumped a heavy suitcase right into the side of Audrey's knee, it's still bruised. That made the trip even more memorable as she hobbled from place to place.

Maeby was so sick the entire trip that she sleep almost the whole way to Australia. She wouldn't eat anything for three days and we almost had to take her to the hospital. When she was awake she had to hold a barf bag to her mouth, she did a pretty good job at making it into the bag. At the airport in California she barfed all over her and into her socks...Mom had to give her a bath in the bathroom sink...yuck

This was the only picture I could get of Melanie.

Maeby zonked out on the way to LAX

At the California airport. We must have been quite a sight. Next time we are carrying way less on the plane, no one wanted to carry their bags so Dad ended up carrying most of them...not fun. They didn't use most of that stuff they packed on the plane anyhow.

Making our way to the international terminal at LAX, Spencer hopped on for a free ride.

I packed a ton of things for the kids to do on the plane. They weren't interested in them, they were having to much fun listening to music and watching movies on the built in screens in front of them. The airplane ride was the easiest part of the trip. The only hard part was trying to get Maeby to drink something and trying not to get barfed on.

The boys finally feel asleep with their headphones on and their eye masks.

Maeby coloring before take off. As soon as the plane started, Maeby was curled up in her seat and off to dream land. She slept most of the trip.

Liam's good-bye party!

Liam had a good-bye party before our move to Australia.

Liam and his friends were head butting each other...how proud we must be.
