Maeby's 4th Birthday

For Maeby Lyn's 4th birthday, she told us that she wanted a Tinker Bell Cake, we worked on one together. We made it out of a chocolate cake and a white cake in tow layers (how exciting!).  Maeby mixed up the frosting to get it just the right fairy green color.  Maeby mixed up the frosting to get it just the right fairy green color.

Next she frosted the first chocolate layer.

Then it was time for the second layer.

Then we made some beautiful fairy flower decorations...She could hardly wait to lick the spatula clean.

And voila! The finished fairy cake, fairies and all.  Daddy brought some fairies home for her, perfect for the cake.

Party Time!

We all sang happy birthday, then Maeby blew out her candles.

Time to see if this fairly cake was as good as it looked.

Even Melanie gave it her stamp of approval.  Great cake Mae!

Let the party begin!  Presents and balloons!  Yay!

The boys were right there to help Maeby play with her new toys.

Oh yeah, I'm 4

Maeby and her friend Kimberly from across the street.

Sister Hall from church made Maeby Lyn a very special cake for her birthday with real flowers on it!  It was so beautiful and sooooooo good.  Sister Hall makes the best cakes.

We got to have another family party after church and eat more delicious cake.

Maeby had another little party at the park with her friends.

Its so fun being 4.
