Bushwalk

We decided to get a family photo by the canola fields. Where is Daddy you ask? Well, while he was setting up the camera, the kids noticed a strange buzzing sound in the air. It was not too loud but sounded like it was coming from the field. A "calm and peaceful sound" as Mel put it. Until we all realized that it was the gazillion bees working the canola flowers.

Aaaaaaaand that was the end of the photo op.

Lunch time on our bushwalk

 Yummmmmy

Pretty little Aussie stream flowing through the bush.
Throwing rocks into the water.

Fly away little stone, fly! You are free.

This spot reminded us of Sabino Canyon back home in Tucson Az.

Maeby was having a fun ride on her mule named daddy.

Mule...or Jackass? HeeHaaaw! Just kidding honey.

The little rascals scurrying up the trail

In case you wanted to know what old kangaroo poo looks like...well now ya'do.

Climbing up the steep parts

Liam was pretty proud that he made it to the plateau first.

Mel acually let us take some pictures of her...

She was having fun too, so stinking cute.

"And this is what bewawahs like to eat"

Liams turn for photos, now give us a real smile.

Thats a little better, but kind of silly still.

Melanie decided to help us make Liam smile by mooning him, but just a little. Looks like it worked.

Well, now he is happy.
Mel is going to show him how its done.

Maeby was making little bouquets of wild flowers.

Well, I am obviously no Melanie, but I thought I would at least give it a try.

Spencer looks kind of big...

Whoah, he's growing!

He's a giant!

Flying Angel attack

Spencers flying squirrel attack

Reminds me of Charlie, after drinking that fizzie drink at Wonkas factory, but with a frightened little pixie on his back.

Kung Fu Spider Monkey
Flying cheerleader... Gimme a "J"!

You guys are so stinking cute. Natalie can't believe how big and grown up Mel is. I can't believe how much she liiks like you did when you were her age. She is as pretty as you were and I am sure she will have the boys all standing in line.

So, we now know that all we need to do to make Liam smile is to moon him? Pretty drastic but hey.....he may not laugh if his grandma did it.
