Adelaide Day 3

Our last day in Adelaide we took a cab across town from Glenelg to Port Adelaide where we went to the old railway museum. Then took the cab to the airport where we flew to Melbourne and drove back home to Yarrawonga. It was a really fun weekend and a great break for us all.

Here we are at the Adelaide Airport on our way home.

This was one of the cabins on the old passenger trains, I don't think it was the first class cabin.

Mom on the passenger car as the kids are playing in the sleeping cabins.

Liam and Maeby Engineering the big Steamer..."All Aboard!"

Chugga-chugga, Toot-Toot!

Spencer is taking us for a ride on the big steam engine. Not a lot of creature comforts for those guys back then, must have been a heck of a job driving these things across Australia in the middle of summer. Geeesh, not even a cup holder? C'mon!

Death is here, "Come for a ride." -no wonder he is so good at what he does, just look at him, how could you say no that?

"...I'm not asking."

Cool Aussie symbol on this train.

We took a ride on a little train to look at another portion of the museum.

Maeby taking the train bike. Who knew they made railroad motorcycles?

Tea time on the passenger train.

"Why I'll fix your wagon wheel little Missy."

Special Delivery

Of course we had to get a photo of Will and the explosives car.

Maebys favorite train of all.

We took a walk in the old downtown Port Adelaide (I think)

Silly pictures at the coolest drinking fountain you have ever seen.

I think we were attempting to get some good ones now.

Well, it was worth a try.

What a neat part of town, so glad we got to see it. Too bad we didn't have more time to explore, but it was still an awesome weekend and Adelaide is one of our favorite places to visit so far.
We had lunch at a Hungry Jacks (Burger King) and got some Iron Man 2 toys, then headed back to the airport.
