Sea World

Day 2, we headed just down the road from our Condo in Main Beach and spent the day at Sea World. It was no San Diego, but it was still really nice and the kids loved it. They had a handful of rides for little kids, and a couple for big kids and adults, but nothing really for Spencer's "size". Maeby was in heaven, Spencer was lost somewhere in between. Poor stumpy little fella - That was Will's line.

There were Sesame Street Characters that put on a show, it was Maebys favorite thing of the day, then a little later on we ran into Grover and some orange chick-monster he was chillin with. Maeby was pretty excited, I think Spence was too although he wouldn't admit it.

This was Spencers favorite ride that he was tall enough for. He and Dad raced everyone to the top and won...according to Spencer.

Uh, you got something stuck in your teeth there mister.

Watching the trainers feed the dolphins.

Some of them were really friendly and swam right up to us and poked their little snouts out of the water to say hi.

Spencer dropped his sunnys in the dolphin pool and we had to have the staff come and fish them out before one of the dolphins ran off with them. Last thing we needed was to get kicked out of Sea World because some dolphin was swimming around wearing a pair of sunglasses.

Melanie loved the dolphins, doesn't she look happy. The second she saw that we had the camera turned on her, that content face was gone, good thing we acted quick. Its like a covert spy operation, trying to get photos of Melanie with a smile on her face.

I think for everyone the dolphin show was the highlight of the day. We were all amazed to see what they could do. It was so cool.

If you look close, you can see me and Liam in the second row from the front speeding by on "The Cork Screw". That was a fun ride and it lived up to its name.

This was a pool full of sting rays and you could pet them as they swam up to the edge along the wall, it was cool they would just let you rub them as they swam there.

This ride was weird, it was full of all sorts of strange displays and spacey stuff that is supposed to represent things lost in the Bermuda Triangle. Some people are so off their rocker...who comes up with this stuff?

Spencer and Liam on the log ride with Dad, they got splashed pretty good. Melanie would have hated that ride, good thing she didn't go.
