| We drove over the mountain to the back side of the island then all the way down to the south to Cape Bruny. There was a light house way down at the tip on a hill and we went over to see that. Cape Bruny is the third oldest Commonwealth lightstation in Australia This place was really amazing. It was a rugged, violent coast; wind whipping the topps off the waves as they crashed into the rock and sandy shoreline. Still it was so beautiful and strangely inviting. |
