Farewell Tassie

Today was our last day in Tasmania.  We drove to downtown Hobart to explore some more and go to the Salamanca Market which is held weekly right down on the waters edge near the wharf.  It was a bit chilly today, but the sun was shining and we had a great walk through Hobart Town. We found a street named after our family on the other side of the world. How cool is that?
We played a bit of chess.

Maeby and Spence closing in on Liam.

Maebys last move...Check Mate!

Maeby didn't want to go, she wanted to stay and play.

On our way to the airport, we stopped by the Royal Botanical Gardens and explored a bit.

Melanie blended in nicely with the spring bloom.

Liam looking as cool as ever.

And look, the kids found a friend.

This bird nearly ate out of Melanie's hand.

Maeby has to climb everything...just like her brother Liam.

Maeby found some lovely flowers she wanted to share.

Long, fast day took its toll on Spencer as we sat in the airport waiting for our flight back to Melbourne.

Maeby was zonking out too.

Liam causing his normal mischief as we all tried to relax and wait for the plane.

Spencer passed the time playing games.

Maeby worked on her sticker book.
Soon, we were off, and on our back back home. What an awesome week we had visiting Tasmania, we saw and did so much yet we barely scratched the surface.  What a beautiful place.
