Mel and Will hiking up the beach, just about to cross the estuarial stream up ahead.
Maeby and Spencer walking together...little trail buddies.
Family Picture...see, we really did go there.
Unfortunately we had to leave Liam behind...as pets were prohibited.
So he entertained himself by climbing around in the local flora.
Just kidding, we could never leave big brother Liam behind. Maeby would not hear of it.
Mom and Maeby on a hunt for the illusive white wallaby. "SHHHHH, thewes a wascally wallaby awound heew."
The architect and builder shows of his final work of art.
Maeby gave this one a young woman's touch and decorated it proper.
Once again, Will found, and captured something live to show the kids.
Well, he's no Bear Grills, but he's the best Daddy my kids have got.
Looking back over adventure bay. Will has a friend that once swam all the way across that.
Another proud addition to the collection.
It was a long walk, Maeby asked for a ride on the Mommy Wallaby (no pouch on this one though)
Maeby shows us some pretty shells. There were millions of shells among the rocks. This must be where the sea birds come to feast on snails and clams or something.
Melanie showing us her shells.
On the way back, Spencer is once again captivated by the sea. Just staring and listening.
"What was that Mel, I cant hear you?!"
It's still fun to play on the beach even when its freezing cold and rainy.
Will found some sea sponge that washed up on the beach, the awkward shape made it impossible for Will to NOT put it on his face. Plus, it did not smell to nice.
"You got a little something on your nose..."
Maeby practicing writing her name in the sand.
Liam drew a big shark that is about to eat his feet.
|
Trail buddies on the way back to the car. Sadly no white wallabies, but we had a fantastic hike and a really fun time in South Bruny National Park.
