Hidden Bruny Island Beach

After visiting the light house we took a 4wd trail off the main road down to a little beach hidden on the back side of the island.  We don't remember the name (if there was one), but we went as far as we could to a little parking/camping area and hiked the rest of the way down to the beach.  We had it all to ourselves, not too hard to imagine that considering that it was a cold and rainy day in the middle of the week.  We just explored and collected shells and what ever else the kids found to be interesting.

Me, Spencer and Melanie exploring down on the beach.

Melanie having a look around.

Lots of things to look at right at the waters edge.  No waves here so it was no big deal to get close.

Maeby playing in the squeaky sand.

I was the only one who remembered to bring a chair...go figure.

Wow, Willy is such a good example.  What would we do without dads to teach your boys how to be boys?

Spencer found a nice dirty place to play, how perfect.  Nevermind the nice clean water 5 meters away.
